Getting Started

Yes. For clients located in Virginia, I am in-network with Aetna, Optum (including UMR, UnitedHealthcare, GEHA, and related plans), and Carelon. I also welcome private pay clients.
For clients located in Hawaiʻi, I currently am in-network with HMSA PPO, and I offer private pay services.
Sliding scale may be available based on financial need and availability.
-
If I'm not in-network with your insurance, I can provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Many clients also choose to pay privately for added flexibility and privacy.
-
Getting started is simple. Reach out through my contact form or email me directly with your name, the state you're located in, and a brief description of what you're hoping to work on. From there, I'll answer any questions you have and help determine whether we're a good fit before scheduling your first appointment.
Working Together
-
Yes. I provide secure, HIPAA-compliant virtual therapy for adults located in Virginia and Hawaiʻi. Telehealth allows you to access therapy from the comfort and privacy of your own home while still receiving high-quality, personalized care.
-
Most therapy sessions last between 50 and 60 minutes, allowing enough time to explore concerns, develop insight, and work toward your goals without feeling rushed.
-
Most clients begin with weekly sessions to build momentum and establish a strong therapeutic foundation. As progress is made, we may transition to biweekly or monthly sessions depending on your goals and needs.
-
I work with adults navigating:

Nervous system dysregulation
Therapy is always tailored to your unique experiences, goals, and strengths.
My Approach
-
Holistic therapy recognizes that emotional well being is influenced by the connection between your mind, body, emotions, relationships, and nervous system. My approach combines evidence based therapy with mindfulness, nervous system awareness, self reflection, and practical coping strategies to support lasting healing; not just symptom management.
-
Yes. My approach is trauma-informed, meaning I recognize the impact that past experiences can have on your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and nervous system. Rather than asking, "What's wrong with you?" I approach therapy with curiosity, compassion, and an understanding of how your experiences have shaped who you are today.
-
Yes, when it's meaningful to you. I believe culture, identity, family experiences, and spirituality can all play an important role in healing. These conversations are always guided by your values, comfort level, and personal goals. My role is to support what feels authentic and helpful for you, never to impose my own beliefs.
If you don't see your question here, feel free to reach out through my contact page. I'm always happy to answer questions and help you determine whether we're a good fit before beginning therapy.
